Our customers

We might be one of the smallest coffee shop in Ljubljana, but coffee is a really big deal here. We may have limited space, but our hearts are full—and so are yours, our loyal coffee drinkers, who have turned Café Čokl into a true living room in the heart of Ljubljana.

Each of you has your own story about how you first found us, how you first tasted coffee from the BUNA roastery, and we’re always happy when you share those stories with us and with others in our café. Some of you come alone for your favorite cup (our baristas already know your order), others come with friends, family, or four-legged companions—but always with a kind word for us and for the other coffee lovers around you.

Many of you also take coffee home—whole bean or ground. But without your own container? Not a chance! By bringing your own jar or bag, you help us stay true to our principle of environmental responsibility. Together with you, we help create less waste.

Order coffee

For those of you who visit Ljubljana less often, you can order our coffee online. We’re glad you recognize the magic of freshly ground coffee—most of our online orders are actually shipped as whole beans.

And no, we’re not surprised when you tell us you find it hard to drink any other coffee. In fact, we’re quite proud of that, because we constantly strive to offer you only the very best. We’re also a little selfish in that regard—we would never serve you anything we wouldn’t enjoy ourselves. That’s why you can order a variety of coffees (by origin, roast level) both in our café and online.

The atmosphere had great vibes.. laid-back, welcoming, and perfect for a quiet break. Its prime location makes it an ideal stop before or after exploring the castle.
